Feral Druid DPS Best Gems, Enchants, and Consumables — 12.0.5
On this page, we list the best gems, enchants, flasks, potions, and food you can get for your Feral Druid, based on your stat priority. We also give budget alternatives. This page is updated for World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.5.
Recommended Gems
The recommended choices for all content are:
- Use
Indecipherable Eversong Diamond in your first socket. - All other sockets should have
Flawless Masterful Peridot or
Flawless Quick Amethyst.
However, it is generally advised that you simulate your character for gems, as individual gear pieces have a big influence on which gem might be your best ones. The above one-size-fits-all approach will serve you well in all types of content though.

Best Enchants and Weapon Augments
Your weapon enhancement consumable of choice is
Thalassian Phoenix Oil
for Critical Strike and Haste.
| Slot | Best Enchantment |
|---|---|
| Main Hand |
|
| Helm |
|
| Shoulders |
|
| Chest |
|
| Legs |
|
| Boots |
|
| Rings |
|
Helm, Shoulder and Boot enchants are up to personal preference as they have no direct impact on performance, but we recommend Avoidance for the extra survivability.

Optimal Consumables
In addition to enchants and improvements to your gear, making sure you come prepared with the right consumables to endgame content has a big impact on your performance.
Flask
Flasks are a good way to adjust your secondary stats if you're lacking in a particular area with your gear setup. While you can pick any of the four secondaries with your choice, we generally recommend:
Flask of the Magisters — provides Mastery, consistently the
strongest secondary.
You can also obtain a flask of your choice from
Cauldron of Sin'dorei Flaskss
provided by Alchemists.
Potions
Light's Potential is your best option, and should be paired with major
cooldowns and
Bloodlust /
Heroism. You can also obtain
Fleeting Light's Potential from
Voidlight Potion Cauldron provided
by Alchemists.
A note on
Draught of Rampant Abandon is that, while it's technically
stronger, one wrong step will pacify you inside the void zone that it occasionally spawns.
It only takes 1-2 GCDs (or a cancelled
Convoke the Spirits!) inside this to wipe
out the extra value, so playing this potion generally isn't worth it.
Silvermoon Health Potion is the current best healing potion. Using
this has a 5-minute cooldown, but multiple can be consumed in an extended boss
fight should it go on long enough. Additionally, Warlock's
Healthstones do not share a cooldown with other healing consumables.
Remember to use it as well if you are holding one!
Food Buff
As Agility is back to being the most valuable stat in Midnight, you should be
eating a
Silvermoon Parade or other primary stat Feast if possible. If
this isn't provided by your group, stick to
Royal Roast personal food instead.
Augment Rune
In addition, if you can afford it, you should use
Void-Touched Augment Runes
to increase your primary stat. These can be obtained through the weekly housing
quest, but remember: Augment Runes are expensive and disappear on death,
so use them wisely!
Other Consumables
Alongside standard buff consumables, there are a handful of other items worth keeping hold of - especially in Mythic+:
Gateway Control Shard — allows you to auto-interact with nearby Warlock
Demonic Gateways.
Void-Touched Drums — grants a weaker 15% Haste
Bloodlust
effect on your party when used. These are still affected by
Sated, so should
only be used if you have no party member that provides it naturally.
Void-Shrouded Tincture — Midnight's invisibility potion, which can
be used to skip certain trash pulls in Mythic+ if a pack will detect you during
Prowl. Bear in mind this does share a cooldown with your
offensive potion
Light's Potential.
