Arms Warrior Leveling Guide for Midnight

Arms Warrior is very straightforward while leveling, starting off with only Sweeping Strikes Icon Sweeping Strikes, but not gaining more worthwhile multi-target tools until around level 30.

Past that point, Warriors start to become quite competent, regularly pulling several mobs together and cleaving them down without fear, thanks to Die by the Sword Icon Die by the Sword mitigating damage and Victory Rush Icon Victory Rush to heal back up. By rotating several different cooldowns, Arms Warriors will eventually chain from pull to pull with little to no downtime.

Always initiate combat with Charge Icon Charge when able, using Heroic Throw Icon Heroic Throw or Heroic Leap Icon Heroic Leap to pull more as desired. When facing several targets, use Sweeping Strikes Icon Sweeping Strikes, Cleave Icon Cleave, Overpower Icon Overpower, and Rend Icon Rend if they are expected to live long enough for the bleed to tick out.

In between those abilities, or when there are only one or two targets left, use Mortal Strike Icon Mortal Strike and Execute Icon Execute to kill off priority targets. Cooldowns such as Colossus Smash Icon Colossus Smash and Bladestorm Icon Bladestorm can be used liberally, but are not often needed. So try to save them for bigger packs or harder targets.

The Recuperate Icon Recuperate ability can be used to quickly regain health between combat, without the need to carry level appropriate food around, since it always restores 50% of maximum health.

Leveling Gear Options

When leveling up, equipping the highest item level pieces of gear is generally ideal. The major exceptions to this rule are some trinkets and Rings or Necklaces featuring two secondary stats instead of just one.

When using Heirloom items, we recommend using those with Critical Strike and Haste, as they will slightly improve Rage economy while leveling.

Useful Leveling Consumables for Midnight

At the start of every new expansion, the one thing in everyone's mind would be how to reach the maximum level. For Midnight, the max level is 90. There are various items to boost your leveling speed and efficiency, allowing you to make the best out of your playtime.

  • Gunshoes Icon Gunshoes — Massive movement speed boost that works when Mounts do not, and much faster than ground mounts.
  • Goblin Glider Kit Icon Goblin Glider Kit — Lets you glide off of ledges and cover vast distances quickly.
  • Fried Bonefish Icon Fried Bonefish — Gives you a speed buff when you kill enemies.
  • Light-Step Hoofplates Icon Light-Step Hoofplates — Do not forget this Mount Equipment to make your mounts faster on the ground.

The following PvP talents are recommended for leveling and doing solo / small group PvE content. You may find that different PvP talents work better for you depending on your playstyle. Experimentation is encouraged!

  2. Rebound Icon Rebound boosts the value of Spell Reflection Icon Spell Reflection, providing both more offensive and defensive value in exchange for a slightly longer cooldown.
  3. Dragon Charge Icon Dragon Charge grants extra mobility, which is always useful while leveling.
