Fastest Leveling Options for Warrior

Welcome to our Warrior leveling guide! Here you will find all you need to about leveling a Warrior efficiently. In addition, you may wish to check out our General Leveling Guide, complete with detailed information on XP, mounts, addons, consumables, tips, and more.

Leveling up as a Warrior is fairly simple and straightforward: Charge Icon Charge in and hit things! While Warriors also have the benefit of being able to switch to a Tank specialization in order to join Dungeon groups much faster, Arms and Fury are much better suited to questing, featuring several tools to keep themselves healthy and deal a lot of damage both in AoE and single-target situations.

Best Leveling Spec for Warriors

When choosing which Spec to level as you first have to think if you wish to level as a Tank or as a DPS. All three Warrior Specs are capable of fast questing and will not hinder your leveling process, though Arms and Fury are typically faster for anything other than getting quick dungeon queues as Protection.

Fury and Arms are both solid in solo content and can deal out a lot of damage with their various abilities. They both also have plenty of sustain to get through their enemies without having to slow down. Choosing which one to level will generally come down to personal preference, although Arms tends to be slightly faster up to around level 33. Check out the individual guides below for more information.

You can use the Recuperate Icon Recuperate ability to quickly regain health between combat, without the need to carry level appropriate food around, since it always restores 50% of maximum health.

Leveling with Arms Warrior

Arms Warrior is a strong choice for leveling, dealing damage to two targets at a time with Sweeping Strikes Icon Sweeping Strikes and keeping itself healed with Victory Rush Icon Victory Rush. This is well suited to objective-based questing, though its full multi-target potential takes several levels to come online.

Leveling with Protection Warrior

While Protection Warrior deals less damage than Fury and Arms, they have the benefit of survivability, able to chain pull near limitlessly, even in the most basic of green questing gear. Tanks also tend to have competitive damage at lower levels, though they will eventually be outscaled by the end of the leveling process.
