FAQWhen Should I use Pyre Instead of Disintegrate?
Midnight Season 1 Tier Set
The Midnight Season 1 Tier set turns our ability
Azure Sweep from
a fairly weak filler into a button that feels very rewarding to press.
Evoker Devastation 12.0 Class Set 2pc — Increases the damage dealt
by
Azure Sweep by 50% and an additional 100% against your primary target.
Evoker Devastation 12.0 Class Set 4pc —
Eternity Surge will now
grant an additional charge of
Azure Sweep and casting Azure Sweep will
reduce the cooldown of Eternity Surge by 2 seconds.
Class and Spec Mechanics Explained
Dragonrage Extending
Dragonrage extending is achieved by casting Empowered spells, such as
Fire Breath and
Eternity Surge, after activating your
Dragonrage cooldown. This is only possible when talented into
Animosity. Despite Dragonrage no longer having a cap on its duration,
you are unlikely to go much beyond 34 seconds due to the diminishing returns
on each extension.
Bombardment Cleaving
Bombardment cleaving is specific to the Scalecommander Hero Talent tree
and is done by spreading your
Bombardments debuff to multiple targets.
The primary target of each
Mass Disintegrate gets its own Bombardments
debuff. Each Essence ability you cast will extend the duration of all active bombardments,
allowing you to get twice as much damage dealt and twice as much cooldown reduction on
Deep Breath
from
Wingleader.
Apex Talents
The new Apex Talent for Devastation Evoker is
Rising Fury,
a stackable Haste and damage increase that activates when we use
Dragonrage.
Starting with 1 stack when you activate Dragonrage, you will receive 4% Haste every 6 seconds. This Haste buff stacks up to 5 stacks for a total of 20%. After reaching 5 stacks, you will also receive a 15% damage increase that persists until the buff wears off.
When Dragonrage expires, your Rising Fury will remain for 4 seconds per
stack, up to a maximum of 20 seconds. This effectively maintains the previous
buffs, in addition to granting you a charge of
Essence Burst every
4 seconds.

Important Cooldowns for Devastation Evoker
Dragonrage
Dragonrage is our only major cooldown, available every 2 minutes. It grants full
effectiveness of
Mastery: Giantkiller and guarantees all of your fillers spells
(
Living Flame /
Azure Strike /
Azure Sweep) will proc
Essence Burst.
It is important to get as many uses of this in a fight as you can.
