Augmentation Evoker DPS Best Gems, Enchants, and Consumables — 12.0.5
On this page, we list the best gems, enchants, flasks, potions, and food you can get for your Augmentation Evoker, based on your stat priority. We also give budget alternatives. This page is updated for World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.5.
Recommended Gems
In Midnight there are both Primary Stat gems (Epic Quality) and Main Stat Gems (Rare). Currently, the Main Stat Gem is significantly stronger than the Secondary Gem.
You may only run one Main Stat gem and we recommend running
Indecipherable Eversong Diamond as it offers the most Main Stat. We suggest
filling all of your remaining sockets with
Flawless Quick Garnet, as Critical
Strike and Haste are Augmentation's best stats.

Best Enchants and Weapon Augments
You should be using
Thalassian Phoenix Oil at all times.
| Slot | Enchantment |
|---|---|
| Weapon |
|
| Helm | |
| Chest | |
| Shoulders | |
| Legs | |
| Ring | |
| Feet |
We suggest using either
Enchant Weapon - Jan'alai's Precision or
Enchant Weapon - Acuity of the Ren'dorei. These enchantments are within
margin of error for DPS, so use the cheapest one!

Optimal COnsumables
In addition to enchants and improvements to your gear, making sure you come prepared with the right consumables to endgame content has a big impact on your performance.
Flask
You should use
Flask of the Shattered Sun for all content, as Critical Strike
Chance is Augmentation Evoker's best stat.
Potion
We recommend using the primary stat potion
Light's Potential in all content. While there are some other options, all of them
either provide less valuable stats, or come with significant drawbacks, and thus are not
worth considering.
Food Buff
As an Augmentation Evoker you will want to use the best Primary stat food
available to you. Currently this would be the
Silvermoon Parade feast. If the
feast is not available, or if the secondary stat Feast is
placed, then you should use
Royal Roast to ensure you get the primary stat
buff.
Augment Rune
You should use
Void-Touched Augment Rune, if you can afford it, when challenging the hardest
content the game has to offer. We do not suggest using these regularly for farm kills
or dungeons, as they are often expensive, but if your wallet allows for it, you can
expect approximately a 1% DPS gain from using these.
