On this page, we list the best gems, enchants, flasks, potions, and food you can get for your Restoration Druid, based on your stat priority. We also give budget alternatives. This page is updated for World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.5.

1.

You are able to socket a single Eversong diamond into your gear. It provides Intellect and sometimes a secondary effect which is less important. The fourt possible options are:

  • Powerful Eversong Diamond Icon Powerful Eversong Diamond (Critical effect)
  • Stoic Eversong Diamond Icon Stoic Eversong Diamond (Armor)
  • Telluric Eversong Diamond Icon Telluric Eversong Diamond (Maximum Mana)
  • Indecipherable Eversong Diamond Icon Indecipherable Eversong Diamond (No effect, more intellect)

The Critical effect gem only provides half the benefit for healing; maximum Mana is not useful because we have no Mana scaling at all. Therefore, we recommend using Indecipherable Eversong Diamond Icon Indecipherable Eversong Diamond.

For the other gem slots, you're able to just socket our preferred gem in every slot because you are not gaining any benefits from socketing unique gem types. Therefore, socket each slot with Flawless Quick Amethyst Icon Flawless Quick Amethyst (Mastery / Haste). Flawless Masterful Peridot Icon Flawless Masterful Peridot is also very competitive and a fine choice if you'd prefer slightly more Haste.

Optimal Consumables

In addition to enchants and improvements to your gear, making sure you come prepared with the right consumables to endgame content has a big impact on your performance.

3.1.

Flask

Flask of the Magisters Icon Flask of the Magisters or Flask of the Blood Knights Icon Flask of the Blood Knights should be used in both content types, with the better flask depending on the stat you have the least of from your current gear.

In raids you will generally want to run Flask of the Blood Knights Icon Flask of the Blood Knights, while Mythic+ favors Flask of the Magisters Icon Flask of the Magisters.

3.2.

Potions

You will also use Potion of Recklessness Icon Potion of Recklessness as your default potion. Mana potions are very weak currently and burst healing cooldowns have been nerfed, so it is recommended to use your stat-potion to better cover the most difficult parts of the fight by using them with your cooldowns.

For Healing Potions, you will mainly use Silvermoon Health Potion Icon Silvermoon Health Potion. Also, do not forget Healthstone Icon Healthstones for emergency healing.

3.3.

Food Buff

The different intellect Feast options are all very good (Silvermoon Parade Icon Silvermoon Parade, Quel'dorei Medley Icon Quel'dorei Medley, Harandar Celebration Icon Harandar Celebration). Impossibly Royal Roast Icon Impossibly Royal Roast is a fine personal food choice if a Feast is not available. The secondary stat food options are a lot worse.

3.4.

Augment Rune

Void-Touched Augment Rune Icon Void-Touched Augment Rune is the only other consumable worth mentioning. Use it whenever possible for extra stats though they can be expensive - especially early in the expansion.
