On this page, we list the best gems, enchants, flasks, potions, and food you can get for your Demonology Warlock, based on your stat priority. We also give budget alternatives. This page is updated for World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.5.

1.

Socketable gems are divided in two categories: Epic and Rare. The former offer a powerful effect but is limited to 1 equipped, whereas the latter includes single or two secondaries stats combination gems.

Gems can be applied to a Helm, Bracer, or Belt via the Radiant Jewelbinder Icon Radiant Jewelbinder item from the Great Vault.

The Dazzling Diamond Epic gems of choice are Indecipherable Eversong Diamond Icon Indecipherable Eversong Diamond or Powerful Eversong Diamond Icon Powerful Eversong Diamond. The former is better until Mythic track gear, at which point the latter performs better.

In terms of itemization, opting for Critical Strike gems yields the best result, due how strong that secondary stat is for Warlocks in general. Flawless Deadly Amethyst Icon Flawless Deadly Amethyst is your best gem to pair with the Indecipherable Eversong Diamond Icon Indecipherable Eversong Diamond, while it is very important to activate the full benefit of the Powerful Eversong Diamond Icon Powerful Eversong Diamond by equipping 4 different-coloured rare gems.

The four rare gems you should be looking to equip are:

  • Peridots: Flawless Deadly Peridot Icon Flawless Deadly Peridot
  • Lapis: Flawless Deadly Lapis Icon Flawless Deadly Lapis
  • Amethysts: Flawless Deadly Amethyst Icon Flawless Deadly Amethyst
  • Garnets: Flawless Masterful Garnet Icon Flawless Masterful Garnet

It is highly recommended using Raidbots to sim your character's ideal gems and enchants, as they might differ from general recommendations.

Make sure to enable the checkboxes with "Always use" and "Only 4+ Colors" in the options.

Potions

The numerically best potion is Draught of Rampant Abandon Icon Draught of Rampant Abandon which comes with a substantial drawback of spawning a silencing pool under the caster after the end of the duration.

Food

Royal Roast Icon Royal Roast and Harandar Celebration Icon Harandar Celebration are the recommended food to consume. You can simply buy whichever is the cheapest, or eat from a feast when it is provided for the group.
